Six European clubs will rival Liverpool to sign Hoffenheim sensation Roberto Firmino at the end of the season, according to sources in Italy.

Firmino has set the Bundesliga alight this season, grabbing 12 goals and eight assists in only 22 outings.

As such, his displays have alerted a number of heavyweights across the continent and he is expected to move on in the summer.

The 22-year-old, who is valued at around £13m, has just over 15 months left on his contract at Hoffenheim and the German club could spark a bidding war for his signature.
