Wes Morgan has signed a new contract with Premier League champions Leicester City.

The Foxes captain, who lifted the trophy against all odds with Claudio Ranieri's side in May, has penned a deal which will keep him at the King Power until 2019.

He was ever-present at the heart of a Leicester defence which conceded just 36 goals last season and was named in the Professional Footballers' Association's Team of the Year, lifting the Premier League trophy just two years after leading the club to the Championship title.

Morgan has played in all four divisions and has more than 600 career appearances to his name.

The 32-year-old told the club's website: "To commit my future to Leicester City is a wonderful feeling.

"Everyone knows how I feel about playing for this Club and with my teammates, so I’m proud to have the chance to carry on wearing the shirt long term.

“Lifting that Premier League trophy was a moment I will never forget and it’s still sinking in. Now we’ve got to give it everything to defend it as well as showing what we can do in the Champions League.

“We all know that what we’ve got in that dressing room is something special, so I can’t wait to get the new season started with the boys so we can once again give it our best for each other and for our fantastic supporters.”

Morgan played every minute of the club's remarkable charge to glory, has committed his future to the club as he prepares for a title defence and Champions League football.

Manager Ranieri said: “Wes is a leader and a warrior. I’m so happy that he’s committed his future to Leicester City Football Club.

Manchester United have delayed the confirmation of their squad numbers for the upcoming season due to the ongoing Paul Pogba transfer saga, according to reports.

Desde que se hiciera cargo del equipo en 2008 —allí ya tenía dos años de experiencia como segundo de Jürgen Klinsmann, por cierto—, Löw nunca ha bajado de semifinales; alcanzó la final de la Eurocopa en 2008, hizo semifinales en el Mundial de 2010, volvió a alcanzar las semis en 2012, fue campeón del mundo en 2014 y de nuevo estuvo entre los cuatro mejores en 2016. Entre la convocatoria de 2008 y la de 2016, por cierto, solo han repetido tres jugadores: Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mario Gómez y Lukas Podolski.

New Balance has revealed its first collection of LOSC Lille kits, to be worn in the 2016/17 season. The kits have been launched as part of the ‘Déchaîné’ (Unleashed) campaign. It highlights the passion and determination the club has to rise to the occasion and challenge for glory. All three shirts will be available at UK Soccer Shop, Kitbag and Subside Sports.

The Lille OSC 16/17 home kit commemorates the club’s historic 70th anniversary of winning their first club double – a Ligue 1 title and Coupe De France trophy. This is achieved with the talismanic message on the inner back neck, “1946 – 2016: Il y a 70 ans, le premier doublé…” (1946 – 2016: 70 years ago, the first double …).

A second message by a former French international, ‘“Le LOSC est bâti sur pierre, rien ne peut l’ébranler” (“LOSC is built on stone, nothing can shake”) has been etched into the internal hem of the home kit.

The home kit also features the fleur-de-lys to the external back neck of the jersey. This emblem celebrates the coat of arms of Lille, the city’s architecture and also its historic landmarks.

All three kits have been developed using NB Dry technology, a moisture wicking fabric that helps keep players cool and dry whilst wicking sweat from the body, making it fast drying. Laser cut and bonded eyelets, placed to the under arm, and an engineered stripe mesh to the side seams for airflow around the body.

The home shirt departs from the Club’s traditional red colour in order to commemorate this historic anniversary. It has been designed on a vivid white base with, vertical gradating chevrons in Pompeian Red and a tonal grey – the chevron is not only synonymous with successful LOSC teams of the past, but it is also a tribute to the fans who support the team by sporting chevrons on the terraces. The shirt is finished off with Pompeian Red V-neck polo collar and cuffs. The accompanying shorts and socks are navy blue featuring tipping trim in club colours.

The Lille 2016/17 New Balance away kit has adopted Pompeian Red as its base. The kit also incorporates chevrons, which gradiate vertically in Navy Blue and tonal Pompeian Red. The same Navy Blue and tipping trim in club colours are also used for the V-neck polo collar and sleeve cuffs. The kit is completed with Navy Blue shorts and socks, featuring tipping trim in club colours.

Lille’s new third kit has been designed in Navy Blue with offset, reversed gradating tonal chevrons providing a unique on-pitch visual. The detail around the cuffs and crewneck has been called-out in Toxic Green, designed to help players pick each other out in-play with cognitive targeting.

The goalkeeper kits have been constructed with engineered Flex fabric panels to for range of movement. These Flex Zones are called out by contrast heat transfers. The collection includes a home shirt featuring a Toxic Green body with black shoulder detailing, an away goalkeeper shirt in Impulse Orange with black shoulder panels and a third goalkeeper shirt designed in Locust Green and black shoulders.

Lille captain and French international Rio Mavuba said: “It’s always a massive privilege for each of us to pull on the Lille colours. All three of the New Balance kits not only look striking but feel fresh. In these kits we will play with intensity, strength and pride from the very first whistle.”

Lille Manager Frédéric Antonetti said: “Everyone associated with the club knows of the 1946 double winning side, they have legendary status here. Tottenham Hotspur Football Club unveiled their Under Armour 2016/17 home, away and third kits via a live event featuring players Christian Eriksen, Victor Wanyama, Michel Vorm and Kieran Trippie on Friday.

Given Tottenham’s status as Under Armour’s highest profile sponsored soccer club, the new shirts all use bespoke designs from the Baltimore, Maryland-based sportswear firm.

The Tottenham Hotspur 16/17 home kit is mainly in the club’s traditional primary white. A block of navy blue appears on the shoulder area. It matches with the navy blue that is complemented by gold on the jersey’s ribbed v-neck and sleeve cuffs.

Spurs’ 2016/17 away shirt has a classic crewneck design in dark blue. Its collar is gold along with a triplet of American football inspired bands on each sleeve.

The Tottenham 2016/17 Under Armour third kit has a retro feel about it through its simple v-neck design. The gold shirt is detailed with dark blue pinstripes, shoulder piping and sleeve cuffs.

All three kits have a gold and navy blue taping with the text “SPURS” at its center.

Tottenham will debut their new match range in high-profile friendlies against Juventus, Atlético de Madrid and Inter Milan ahead of their August 13th season opener at Everton.

adidas Originals has released a pair of new Germany retro jerseys inspired by the home shirt worn by Die Mannschaft from 1988 to 1991.

The still popular design of the classic football shirt is highlighted by an 1980s styled graphic in the colors on the German national flag running across its chest area.

The home version of the Germany 1988-91 adidas Originals retro jersey is in the traditional white of the four-time FIFA World Cup winners. Unlike the 88/91 shirt (which had a white v-neck collar) it has a black polo collar and v-neck combination and matching sleeve cuffs. The adidas shoulder stripes are also black.

The Germany 1988-91 alternate jersey is all black with white detailing. It is slightly different from the home shirt in that its v-neck has a neck insert and its front and back have a series of geometric shapes built into its fabric. The shapes are reminiscent of those on those on the green German away kit worn during the period.

AFC Bournemouth today revealed their away kit for their second season in the Barclays Premier League. It is provided by Cherries technical partner JD Sports and will be available at the firm’s online store.

The Bournemouth 2016/17 JD Sports away shirt is a striking blue affair that uses two shades of the color on a series of stripes on its front and back. White is incorporated onto the jersey at its sleeve cuffs and waistline. The kit has a clever ribbed Henley-look collar with a placket that included two snapping buttons.
